Buongiorno Raggi di Sole!! Son tornata con un altro evento e questa volta ESPLOSIVO!! Si tratta dell’evento Italia Independent per il lancio della Unique Limited Edition per F.I.R. (Federazione Italiana Rugby). Il party si è tenuto allo store di Torino, in Via Lagrange 31.Io ho avuto l’onore di essere invitata grazie alla recente conoscenza con la bellissima e bravissima dj Anfisa Letyago e al suo produttore Fabio Lautieri (anche regista di documentari).Anfisa è di origine russa, ha 23 anni ma è già una forza della natura. È bella, molto dolce e disponibile, oltre che bravissima nel suo lavoro. È sempre alla ricerca di nuove ispirazioni e nei suoi dj-set non mancano contaminazioni da ogni genere musicale, rock in particolare.È stata carinissima con me così come Fabio. Mi hanno presentato allo staff Italia Independent e altra gente, tutti gentilissimi e molto disponibili.Ma veniamo all’evento…il negozio si trovava in un elegante cortile, con le pietrone (meno male che non ho messo i tacchi :D), adornato da un ricco catering e da un lungo tappeto nero. La consolle, un pannello con il logo del brand e una serie di occhiali che sarebbero stati usati per le foto.
All’interno, due stanze, non grandi ma piene di colori e fantasie. Un albero circondato da uno scaffale circolare con occhiali e t-shirt. All’entrata, un tavolino di vetro con la base presa dal muso della Fiat 500, una collaborazione tra Fiat e Meritalia (il catalogo completo qui e le altre collaborazioni qui), e su una parete una gigantografia della Maschera torinese Gianduja. Una bellissima sorpresa, perchè in un contesto di pura innovazione vedere una figura così tradizionale non può che farti sorridere e pensare: “Io amo l’uomo che ha fatto questo!!”.L’evento iniziava alle 17.30, ma io avevo appuntamento un’ora prima con Anfisa e Fabio. Un caffè, quattro chiacchiere e via ^_^ Sono poi arrivati anche alcuni giocatori della Nazionale Italiana di Rugby e ovviamente non poteva mancare Lapo Elkann. Tra giornalisti, fan, e blogger c’era una bella folla. Ho fatto qualche foto con i giocatori e stavo aspettando che Lapo si liberasse, peccato che era di fretta e sono riuscita al volo a lasciargli il mio biglietto da visita. Sarà per la prossima :)

Gli occhiali sono davvero belli. Il concept del marchio (lanciato a Firenze nel 2007, è un brand di creatività e stile per persone indipendenti che coniuga fashion e design, tradizione e innovazione.) è prendere le icone e reinventarle con nuovi colori, fantasie e materiali. Una particolarità è l’effetto velluto data da una particolare lavorazione con l’acetato. La collezione per i nostri Azzurri è unica nel suo genere, caratterizzata dal trattamento gommato per il frontale, che impreziosisce la superficie dell’oggetto. I colori scelti sono chiaramente quelli della maglia degli atleti, l’azzurro, in due tonalità, acceso per il frontale e più scuro per le aste. Queste ultime sono caratterizzate dall’impiego della tecnologia I-Thermic, che permette, al superamento di una temperatura di 26 gradi centigradi, di svelare una particolare texture celata al di sotto della colorazione superficiale. In questo caso, ad apparire è la bandiera tricolore, sviluppata orizzontalmente, per tutta la loro lunghezza. Le lenti sono specchiate di colore azzurro. All’interno dell’asta di sinistra, la scritta Unique Edition for F.I.R. completa la personalizzazione del prodotto. Una versione ancora più speciale dell’occhiale, dedicata ai soli componenti della Nazionale e impreziosita dalle iniziali di ciascuno degli atleti. [Comunicato stampa Italia Independent]


La serata si è conclusa con una buonissima entrecote nel cuore di Torino, con un’ottima compagnia e un ottimo vino :)

Good morning Sunshines!! I come back with another event and this time it will be AWESOME!! I’m talking about the Italia Independent event for the launch of the Unique Limited Edition for F.I.R. (Italian Rugby League). The party took place at the store in Turin, 31, Via Lagrange.

I had the honor to be invited thanks to the recent friendship with the great and beautiful dj Anfisa Letyago and her producer Fabio Lautieri (also docu-director).

Anfisa has Russian origins, she’s 23 and she’s a force of nature. She’s beautiful, really sweet and willing, and great in her job. She’s always looking for new inspirations and, in her dj-sets, contaminations (rock in particular) are the order of the day.

She was so nice with me, as Fabio too. They introduced me to the Italia Independent staff and other people, all kind and very willing.

Let’s talck about the event…

The shop is placed in a fascinating courtyard, made by rocks (thank God I didn’t wear heels :D). It was plumed by a rich catering and a long black carpet. There were the console, a panel with the brand logo and some sunglasses used then for pics.
Inside, two not big rooms, full of colors and fantasies. A tree surrounded by a circle shelf with sunglasses and t-shirts. Entering, you can see a glass table, which base is a part of the Fiat 500, a design partnership between Fiat and Meritalia (the complete catalogue here and the other partnerships here), e on the wall a big figure of the Turin Mask Gianduja. A beautiful surprise, as seeing a so traditional character in a pure innovation context bring you to think: “I love the man who did this!!!”.

The event started at 5.30 PM, but I had to meet Anfisa and Fabio one hour earlier. A coffe at the bar, a little talk and here we ready for the show ^_^ There were also some players of the National Rugby Team and obviously  Lapo Elkann. Journalists, fans, bloggers…there were a lot of people. I took some pics with the players while I was waiting for Lapo. Unfortunately he was in a hurry and I only left him my business card. The next time will be better :)

The sunglasses are very beautiful. The concept of I-I (launched in 2007, it’s a creative and stylish brand for independent people which blends fashion and design, tradition and innovation) constits in the reinterpretation of the style icons with new colors, prints and materials. The collection for our Azzuri is unique, characterized by rubber treatment for the frame, that embellishes the surface of the item. The colours chosen are clearly those of the athletes’sweaters, blue, in two tones, bright for the frame and darker for the temples. These are characterised by the use of I-Thermic technology, that reveals, when the temperature of 26 degrees centigrade has been exceeded, a particular texture hidden below the surface colouring. In this case, it is the three-coloured flag that becomes evident, created horizontally, along their entire length. The lenses are mirrored in blue. On the inner part of the left temple, the writing Unique Edition for F.I.R. completes the customisation of the product. An even more special version of glasses, dedicated exclusively to the members of the Rugby National Team and embellished with the initials of each athlete. [Italia Independent press release]

The night ended with a very good entrecote in the heart of Turin, with a great company and a great wine :)
